REUBEN, THERAPY DOG
Reuben is a 1.5-year-old Aussiedoodle rescue with a heart as big as his fluffy curls. He may be young, but he already has an old soul’s wisdom when it comes to knowing just what his clients need. Whether it’s offering a gentle nuzzle, a warm cuddle, or simply sitting quietly by your side, Reuben has a gift for making people feel safe and supported.
Some of his favorite things include:
Treats (the crunchier, the better!)
Cuddles (preferably on a cozy blanket with a pillow)
Spreading joy to anyone who needs it
Reuben believes every tail wag, cuddle, and soft gaze can make the day a little brighter. His gentle presence helps clients feel calm, cared for, and never alone on their journey.
A Note for Those Nervous Around Dogs
Reuben also helps clients who may feel anxious or unsure around dogs. Because he is calm, patient, and highly attuned to people’s comfort, he is a wonderful partner in exposure therapy—supporting individuals as they gradually build trust and confidence. He takes things slowly, always respecting boundaries, and is happiest when people feel safe in his presence.
